Congratulations to Andrew Yu, Nathan Jiang, and Chris Jung on their recent performances on WRTI 90.1!!

Andrew Yu is a 6th grade student at Bala Cynwyd Middle School. He takes private lessons at the Nelly Berman School with Dr. Anna Kislitsyna and performed Mendelssohn’s “Songs Without Words, Op. 19, No. 3”

Nathan Jiang, age 14, studies at the Nelly Berman School with Dr. Igor Resnianski. He has soloed with the Plainfield Symphony, the Kostroma Symphony in Russia, the Old York Road Symphony, and the Ambler Symphony Orchestras. He can be heard here performing Chopin’s “Ballade No. 3 in Ab Major, Op. 47”

and Chris Jung, rising senior at Conestoga High School, can be heard here performing a stunning rendition of Lowell Liebermann’s “Gargoyles, Op. 29” Chris also studies with Dr. Resnianski at the Nelly Berman School, and has had tremendous competition success this year, most recently winning the 3rd prize award in the Festival, “Musica in Laguna” International solo competition in Italy, which he was awarded entry into from his 1st prize placing at the International Competition “2019 Young Talents World Festival of Performing and Visual Arts,” hosted by Global Music Partnership.
