December Rising Stars Concerts 2026
We are very excited to celebrate the musical achievements and hard work of our students and our teachers at our upcoming Rising Stars Concerts, on two Sundays, December 6th and December 13th at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Bryn Mawr!
Please talk to your teachers and choose a piece that you would love to share, and challenge yourselves to memorize it and perfect it. Students are welcome to bring friends and relatives to share their wonderful playing. It will be very inspirational to all listeners. Beautiful music brings great solace to the soul and lifts us into higher realms of being!
If your piece is written with piano accompaniment, you need to contact the office to schedule a rehearsal with an accompanist and provide the sheet music in advance so the accompanists have time to learn it. Because of the Thanksgiving break being so close to the concerts, we need the following information prepared well in advance.
- We must receive your sheet music and day and time availability by Monday, November 16th to schedule a rehearsal with a pianist.
Rehearsals will be taking place during the following weeks. Please provide your day and time availability:
- Week 1: November 16th- 25th
- Week 2: November 30th – December 5th
- Week 3: December 6th – 12th
We will have different accompanists on each concert date. The concert date that you select will determine which accompanist will accompany your child.
Please scan and email your accompaniment to office@nbsmusic.com and bring a physical copy to your first rehearsal. Our accompanists must receive the music several weeks in advance so they have time to learn it.
You have an opportunity to provide rehearsal availability later in this form. We will have one or two different accompanists on each concert date. We may have to adjust times to consolidate students performing with a given accompanist into one concert.
