Drawing inspiration from his upbringing in the inner city of Warren, Ohio, Antonie Jackson aspires to inspire and uplift young individuals from diverse backgrounds through music. Antonie has participated in several festivals such as Atlantic Brass Quintet Summer Seminar, and also performed at notable venues including Hershey Theatre, Carnegie Hall, and the Kimmel Center. Antonie’s teaching philosophy focuses on fostering a nurturing and supportive environment, allowing students to develop their skills while cultivating a deep appreciation for music. Additionally, his experience as an English tutor informs his ability to support students and parents of diverse cultural backgrounds.
Antonie holds a Master of Music degree from Penn State University, where he served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. He recently graduated from the prestigious Peabody Conservatory, where he earned a Graduate Performance Diploma in Trumpet Performance with full Scholarship. Currently, Antonie is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Trumpet Performance at Temple University.
