Congratulations to Alyssa Gabrilovich, piano student of Dr. Igor Resnianski, who was awarded the prestigious Chopin Foundation Scholarship for 2021-2022. She also won Bronze in the Ages 14-17 category at the 2021 Canada International Piano Competition – its jury included Julian Martin from Juilliard, Pavel Nersessian from Boston University, Eliso Virsaladze from Moscow Conservatory, and others. Alyssa Gabrilovich also received the following prizes: Tri-County Youth Festival (1st Place – Senior Division), and Chopin International Piano Competition (second prize). Alyssa was also selected as a finalist for the prestigious Southeastern Piano Festival’s Arthur Fraser International Piano Competition, and will be competing this summer.
Congratulations to Suri Ahn, violin student of Sylvia Ahramjian, who won Warminster Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artist Competition! She will perform with the Warminster Symphony Orchestra in Fall 2021.
Congratulations to Torsten Fras, harpsichord student of Dr. Anna Kislitsyna, who was named as a Finalist on NPR’s “From the Top”! Torsten Fras also received the following prizes: 21st Century Talents Keyboard Competition (first prize), King’s Peak International Music Competition (first prize), Rocky Mountain Talent Competition (first prize), Grand Metropolitan International Music Competition – Online (Gold), and the Charleston International Music Competition (first prize).
