A big congratulations to Alyssa Gabrilovich (junior piano), who won the Eastern Sectionals of the Music Teacher’s National Association Performance Competition, the biggest nationwide music competition for secondary school, college, and post-collegiate level musicians. She will advance to the finals, to be held in Chicago in March. Alyssa is taught by Dr. Igor Resnianski.

Congratulations to Chris Jung (senior piano) and Emma Lo (senior piano) as well, who both were awarded Honorable Mention at the state level of the Music Teacher’s National Association Performance Competition.

Congratulations to Michael Zhou, who won 1st Prize at the VII Rome International Music Competition and Honorable Mention at the V Padereskwi International Piano Competition, both of which were held online. Michael is taught by Dr. Anna Kislitsyna.

Congratulations to Sophia Cui and Joyce Chen, who were awarded Gold with Distinction (meaning they were within 3 points of the winner) at South Jersey Music Teachers’ Association’s Technique Competition & Theory Test. Sophia and Joyce are taught by Dr. Ariane Alexander.

Congratulations to Michael Zhou, one of the winners of Episcopal Academy’s Dora Khayatt Competition! Michael performed Scriabin’s Fantasie No. 1 Op. 28 in B minor. He is a student of Dr. Anna Kislitsyna.
